This is a painting done of a "once in a lifetime" shot of a rare red fox. Just last week, we had a rare 4-5 inch snow at our lake home. My neighbor called to tell us that a red fox was heading toward our house. We waited, watched, and caught it as it paused to rest. It looked right at us, and I hurriedly snapped a photo. What an extraordinary sight it was!
