From May 5 - May 31, 2010, I was fortunate enough to be juried into the Richardson Civic Art Exhibition. The painting that was selected was Waiting, a portrait I painted from a family photo my father had taken of me when we lived in Athens, Greece. One of my favorite activities was to feed the pigeons in a park across from where we lived. I added the pigeons to the painting even though they were not part of the original photo.
